Sound doctrine in the last days
KJV Matthew 24:11-13 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
We are still looking at what Jesus said about us enduring sound doctrine in these last days. Jesus told us about those who heard the word of God, and received it with gladness, and endured for a time, but afterward when persecution came because of the word then they where offended and these brought no fruit forth, in the time in which we live if a man preaches and teaches the unadulterated word of God, he will be scorned by those who don’t believe that the word of God is infallible.
KJV Mark 4:16-17 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
The early church that received the word of God and believed it, they continued steadfast in the apostles doctrine, even though they was whip and beat and told that they could not preach and teach the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ they continued on preaching and teaching with boldness, and would not compromise the word of God.
KJV Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Now in our time as it was then when we teach and preach that the word of God cannot be changed, added to or taken away from there is those religious folks who will say that we are unlearned, or we would accept changing the word of God, but remember those religious folks was the ones that said the apostles were unlearned and ignorant, but praise God they had to admit that had been with Jesus, and the reason they knew that was because they was continuing to teach and preach the same doctrine that Jesus taught and preached.
KJV Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
