Dane McCracken Wagon Racers and Fans we need your help! The Federal Fish and Wildlife is trying to pass a "Protected River" legislation on the river that runs though our property. If this legislation passes there is a great chance that no horses will be allowed to cross the river and a definite chance that no vehicles will be allowed to cross the river. This will hinder our campers and racers greatly. No liv...e...stock will be allowed to water in the river causing great difficulties during our event. We have been fighting this for months now and are not getting anywhere. A woman in the legislative office said we did not have enough voices speaking out against these laws and need to have people call or email their office voicing their objection to this legislation. If you could find the time please call (501) 324-5941 or email ashley.golleher@mail.house.gov with your comments and concerns. PLEASE pass this on to others who do not have access to facebook. We need all of the help we can get stopping this ridiculous legislation. Surely the voices of our great fans and racers can stop these lawmakers. Thank you in advance to those who find the time. মাগো, সবেমাত্র রণাঙ্গন থেকে ফিরে এসে শিবিরে বিশ্রাম নিচ্ছি। একটা বিস্তীর্ণ এলাকা শক্রমুক্ত করতে পেরে স্বস্তির নিঃশ্বাস ফেলছি। মনটা তাই বেশ উৎফুল্ল। হঠাৎ মনে পড়ল তোমাকে। বাড়ি থেকে আসার পর এই প্রথম তোমাকে লিখছি। ইচ্ছে থাকা সত্ত্বেও তোমায় লিখতে পারিনি। বাংকারে বসে আছি। বাইরে ভীষণ বৃষ্টি হচ্ছে। বৃষ্টি আর বাতাসের শব্দ মিলে একটা চাপা আর্তনাদ ভেসে আসছে। মাগো, আজ মনে পড়ছে বিদায় নেবার বেলায় তোমার করুণ হাসিমুখ। সাদা ধবধবে শাড়িটায় বেশ মানিয়েছিল তোমাকে। সেদিনের পূর্ব দিগন্তের সূর্যটা বেশ লাল মনে হয়েছিল। আমার কী মনে হয়েছিল, জানো মা? অসংখ্য বাঙালির রক্তে রঞ্জিত ওই লাল সূর্যটা, ওর প্রতিটা কিরণচ্ছটা পৃথিবীতে জন্ম দিয়েছে অগ্নিশপথে বলীয়ান, স্বাধীনতার মন্ত্রে দীক্ষিত এক একটা বাঙালি সন্তান। সেদিনের আশায় পথ চেয়ে আছে বাংলার প্রতিটি সন্তান, যেদিন বাংলার স্বাধীনতার সূর্য প্রতিফলিত হবে, অধিকার বঞ্চিত, শোষিত, নিপীড়িত, বুভুক্ষু সাড়ে সাত কোটি বাঙালির আশা-আকাঙ্ক্ষা। যে মনোবল নিয়ে প্রথম তোমা থেকে বিদায় নিয়েছিলাম, তা আজ শতগুণ বেড়ে গেছে। তাই তো বাংলার আনাচে কানাচে এক মহাশক্তিতে বলীয়ান তোমার অবুঝ শিশুগুলোই আজ হানাদার বাহিনীকে হেনেছে চরম আঘাত, পান করছে হানাদার পশুদের তাজা রক্ত। ওরা মানুষ হত্যা করছে, আর আমরা পশু হত্যা করছি। মা, মাগো। দুটি পায়ে পড়ি মা। তোমার ছেলে ও মেয়েকে দেশ ও জাতির ক্রান্তিলগ্নে ঘরে আটকে রেখ না। ছেড়ে দাও, স্বাধীনতার উত্তপ্ত রক্তপথে। শহীদ হয়ে অমর হবো, গাজী হয়ে তোমারই কোলে ফিরে আসব মা। মাগো, জয়ী আমরা হবোই। দোয়া রেখো। জয়ী আমরা হবোই। জয় বাংলা। ইতি, তোমারই দুলাল। ''একাত্তরের চিঠি'' বইটি থেকে চিঠিটি সংগৃহীত। মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা এদেশ স্বাধীন করেছিলেন তাদেরই উত্তরসূরিদের জন্য। আর সেই ধারাবাহিকতায় এ প্রজন্ম যুদ্ধ করবে সেই গৌরবময় ইতিহাসকে সংরক্ষণ করতে অথবা অবক্ষয়ের সীমানা জুড়ে ভালোবাসায় ভরিয়ে দিতে। সেই যুদ্ধের অস্ত্র হতে পারে এই একটি চিঠিও!!! __________________________________________________________________ ভালো লাগলে শেয়ার করতে পারেন। মোবাইল থেকে পোস্টটি শেয়ার করার লিংক http://on.fb.me/v4Bbrn . . .
