Roger Cepeda Roger Cepeda Hooray! My alma mater (Newfield) has won the LI Championship @ Hofstra vs Garden City and Suffulk Championship @ SBU vs E. Islip. 1st time in 50 yrs. My sister, brother and I all went to Newfield. My brother and I both played football for Newfield and my sister was a cheerleader. Went to E. Islip game with sister and her husband. Went to Garden City with my bro. Have lost my voice from cheering at both. Saw LI Championship on TV a few hours later on MSG Varisty and the game was even better with the replays and commentary. Even saw bro and self in the stands.
Hooray again! SBU has won NCAA Championship vs Albany. Went to this game too.
Don't know if I will be able to speek again with all this cheering I have been doing. Thank you both teams for Great Games!
